A peculiar post on Albert Einstein elucidating the importance of trying!
If you haven't failed, you've never tried.
Albert Einstein scribbled the following on a chalkboard, one day.
09 = 9 x 1
18 = 9 x 2
27 = 9 x 3
36 = 9 x 4
45 = 9 x 5
54 = 9 x 6
63 = 9 x 7
72 = 9 x 8
81 = 9 × 9
91 = 9 x 10
There was an outburst of laughter in the hall because Albert Einstein was incorrect; the right answer for 9 times 10 is 90, and all of his pupils mocked him.
As a result, Albert Einstein waited for everyone to quiet down before saying:
“No one applauded me even though I had correctly evaluated the nine questions; nevertheless, when I just missed one question, everyone started laughing; this implies that even if a person is extremely successful, society will notice and relish his tiniest mistake.
So don't let criticism derail your ambitions; the only person who never makes a mistake is the one who doesn't try.”
