@Chellaney, now who'll educate someone as old as @JoeBiden @POTUS & as ineffective as @VP @KamalaHarris, @KremlinRussia_E poses no threat to American interests?
Actually, they know asmuch & yet prefer to taken on Russia just to avoid a bigger immediate threat posed by China. 👎
Moreover, America's odds of reigning in a paper tiger like Russia & making their point without incurring significant collateral damage themselves is within the realms of possibility.
China makes all the intelligent systems they need & is an equal match to America to that extent.
Alternatively, America could be wanting Russia on their side & both Russia & 🇺🇲 could be indulging in theatrics as a team just to confuse 🇨🇳 and to tempt 🇨🇳, to take the wrong step before 🇷🇺 & 🇺🇲 team up to rein in the big bully(🇨🇳) the room.
Atleast, both 🇷🇺 & 🇺🇲 aren't stupid.
As far as coercive capacity go, America actually would've more luck with China than Russia.
Indeed, Russia leans on Taiwan, America, China & itself, for #microelectronics.
However, Russia is blessed with an abundance of natural resources & is otherwise self-reliant.
Not China.
Ironically, China's dependence on Russia for advanced weapon systems is so high, Russia can actually turn the tables on China & take the wind out of China's sail, if Russia were to ally with NATO
Further, Russia's claim over Ukraine & other former USSR territories is legitimate.
Now, I'm fairly clear.
Russia annexed Crimean Peninsula after America encouraged Russia to go there & do that.
Ukraine would be next.
🇺🇲 seeks to revive former USSR just to share own, EU's & others burden of dealing with China.
Hence, I see, 🇨🇳 is all set to get disappointed.
Alternatively, 🇺🇲 is trying it's hand at bluster, yet unrevealed capabilities, psyops, ..
They only need to puncture the resolve of one man, the de facto ruler of @KremlinRussia_E
Or, maybe 🇺🇲 indeed has some unrevealed capabilities tucked up it's sleeves that can overpower 🇷🇺.
C'mmon, @POTUS @JoeBiden ain't as dumb to take the raging bull(dragon) by it's horns when he has already found a lamb in @KremlinRussia_E. 🤣
Logically, it makes sense for @KremlinRussia_E to escalate hostilities only after China has seized initiative; not before.
Hence, Russia is merely indulging in theatrics.
Of-course, 🇷🇺 claim over #Ukraine is legitimate.
However, 🇷🇺 lacks the wherewithal for unilateral action.
It's increasing clear to me, Russia has no lost love for China & is trying to bait 🇨🇳 to escalate hostilities on Taiwan by itself playing hardball on Ukraine.
What happens next would depend on 🇨🇳's willingness to bite the bait.
Once, 🇨🇳 goes ahead & annexes 🇹🇼, 🇷🇺 may annex 🇺🇦.
I find, China arming Pakistan(Pak) with cutting-edge weapon systems(WS) a rather dumb & self-defeating act.
Modern heavy WS need ongoing support, training & spares.
Unfortunately, being a client state, #Pak can't avoid arming themselves to the teeth & focus on their priorities.
Agreed, it helps China export their arms, develop export market for their weapon systems, .. prove the quality & capabilities of their weapon systems, make Pakistan a captive market(/dumpyard) for standardized & obsolete weapon systems & somuch more.
However, at a great cost!!!
Further, nobody can make anyone stand upto anyone & fight anyone just by arming them.
To pick up cudgels against another powerful nation one must have their own reasons & belief in their own success.
Without asmuch, arming Pakistan is a self-defeating(👎) proposition for China.
Both America & Russia have been pioneers in arming rogue nation states in their own geopolitical interest &/ to bankroll their respective military-industrial complex.
Infact, they were quite successful in meeting their objectives until the collapse of the USSR & end of cold war.
However, "quod ali cibus est aliis fuat acre venenum(what is food for one man may be bitter poison to others)".
American dollars is the reserve currency of the world & nothing has changed much on that front.
So, taking on 🇺🇲 is as #foolhardy as taking on the bull by it's horns.
S-400 fails against a swarm attack, low flying cruise missiles attacking en masse, fighter aircrafts launching a plethora of supersonic missiles while taking cover of mountains & buildings, high altitude ballistic & hypersonic missiles.
Yet, it's an important addition to ADS
